Here’s a lil theory I want to record: Apple will release Leopard for PCs.
Apple are moving away from Mac’s and towards software and accessories. The iPod, Apple TV, iPhone and now Safari are all being released universally, it’s a perfectly logical (and very profitable) step to release Leopard to PCs, they will make much more money from selling the OS than they will lose from Mac’s losing their leverage.
If Apple want to be successful in the software and accessory area they need to sell to a wider group than those with Mac’s (which is such a small market share).
