Just spent the last half an hour of work on the roof watching a police chopper, car, fire engine and ambulance arrive at the Primary School next door.
Turns out a kid got dared to headbutt through one of the School’s windows with a bike helmet on. What he didn’t seem to realise was that if his head went through (which of course it did) his body would follow. Messed up his arm pretty bad.
I love how over-the-top the emergency services were, in a small town like Malmesbury I can just imagine them all doing nothing all day so when something, anything comes along they all jump to action.
